Superstar: Chevy Kozisek

The art of tattoo has always fascinated Sioban Kozisek (“Chevy”). She got her first tattoo when she was attending boarding school in Ireland. “I was 16-years-old and I had a fake ID to say I was 18,” Kozisek recalls. “I found some little dive shop above a pub in Cork City and decided to get a yin yang on my shoulder. This massive bearded man with a Celtic design on his chest had me sit backwards on a broken chair...

Proprietors Jennifer Fulcher and Jessica Chizek offer some much needed advice to today’s women of Omaha: “Take time for yourself and just chill.

Family Find

Arelatively new boutique in West Omaha is creating jobs not only for the employees but for vendors who just need a place to sell their work. St. Patrick’s Day is just around the river bend. Usually, I would rant about the absurdity of starting a drinking binge at 7 a.m. and wearing ridiculous leprechaun hats and plastic shamrock beads, but my health and image concerns aside, St. Patty’s Day is an occasion to be festive! But there’s no need for you to look like a walking advertisement for Oriental Trading Company (okay, maybe the image concerns are...
