Rave On!

Feb. 3-4 Rave On! Harrah’s Casino, 1 Harrah's Boulevard, Council Bluffs 8 p.m., 21+, $15 ADV/$20 DOS, 888.512.SHOW harrahscouncilbluffs.com Count Buddy Holly among those celebrities who’ve left this world too soon … and whose estates continue to earn money by the bundle (Presley and Jackson families, I’m looking at you, too). Impresario and Omaha-native Billy McGuigan continues his spot-on role as the late West Texas singer, recreating the care-free days of the 1950s, when the music slowly became a little more rock and a lot less country and we didn’t spend the days tweeting away. McGuigan has taken Rave On! across the country. Regardless of where it has played, positive reviews have followed. This is an event you will long remember.
