Pleasure Adapter unveils two songs

* Synth punk act Pleasure Adapter now has two songs online. The band recorded "Slaves of the New World" and "Everything Has Been Erased" with Mark McGowan at Suitcase Omaha earlier this year. Check out the tracks at pleasureadapter.bandcamp.com.

* Local acoustic pop artist Daniel Christian has released a new collaborative EP with Mark Adams. The release, A Moment Vanishing, is now available on iTunes. The duo will play a release show Saturday, March 23rd at Meadowlark Coffee, 1624 South St. in Lincoln.

* Hip hop artist and Midtown Marauders member Black Jonny Quest just released Smells Like Good News, his latest limited edition mixtape. Check out Black Jonny Quest on Facebook for  download details.

* The third time was not a charm for those hoping to catch Smiths' frontman Morrissey live at Lincoln's Rococo Theater. The English singer was scheduled to play in Nebraska Tuesday, March 19th, after rescheduling two earlier dates. This time, Morrissey is sidelined with pneumonia and he has cancelled all of his scheduled dates. The Lincoln show will not be rescheduled. Credit card orders will be refunded over the next week, while other sales can be refunded at the place they were purchased.

* Plack Blague will headline what might end up being the edgiest first Friday opening at the Sweatshop Gallery, 2727 North 62nd St. The show, Butch Therapy, will feature work by Plack Blague's Raws and Lincoln resident Loren Macias. Live performances by Plack Blague and new electronic goth group Ruby Block are also on tap.

* Pop singer Pink will headline the first announced concert scheduled at Lincoln's new Pinnacle Bank Arena. The show is scheduled for November 9th. The arena is slated to open by September.

* Check out some Bolzen Beer Band, some beer and some Lincoln food truck offerings Saturday, March 23rd at Blue Blood Brewing Company, 500 West South St. in Lincoln. The 21-plus event will feature the rag-tag polka punk act playing during the 4 p.m. event. Five Lincoln food trucks will also be on hand to serve food.
