Janet Jackson

April 5 Janet Jackson Qwest Center, 455 N. 10th St. 8 p.m., $49.50-$125, 341.1500 qwestcenteromaha.com   The legendary Janet Jackson (that’s “Miss Jackson, if you’re nasty”) is known for her famously quirky family and the infamous Super Bowl “Nipplegate.” But this week she showcases her cache of jams, bringing the Number Ones: Up Close and Personal Tour to Omaha, representing hits from the many eras of Janet — think “Rhythm Nation,” “That’s The Way Love Goes,” “Control,” “Escapade,” and “All For You.” And she really means “up close.” Although it’s her largest world tour yet, the arena will be crafted towards an intimate stage and seating arrangement, allowing fans a closer connection to the lovely diva.
