There are still many food related activities to get you through these winter months. In fact on Thursday January 17th, you can take a class on community gardening, to learn how to start up a community garden or how to make your community garden work better. Community Gardening 101 is from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and is located at Douglas County Extension office at 8015 West Center Rd. The 8th Annual Murder Mystery at the Castle is being held this year on Friday February 15th and Saturday February 16th at the Joslyn Castle. The theme is the sleazy lies of spies. You are encouraged to dress as your favorite spy and dine amongst your fellow spies as they perform tricks and treats. Arrival is at 6:00 p.m. and the cost is $75 per spy, which includes dinner and two drink tickets. For tickets, you can call 402.595.2199 or visit www.joslyncastle.com for information.

The nominees have been announced in the Oscars of Catering and Omaha’s Catering Creations is one of the nominees. The ACE Awards written and published by Catersource, Minneapolis are proud to announce the 26 finalist from four regions within the US.
