Stokes Bar and Grill, Tommy Colina’s Kitchen, Cantina Laredo, The Cresent Moon

Stokes Bar and Grill is switching it up and relocated their west location. They officially closed doors at their 114th and Dodge location on October 20th. They are moving to 13615 California, previously the home of Blue Agave. Stokes will open in their new home on October 27th. Tommy Colina’s Kitchen is adding another location. They are moving west to the Spring Ridge Plaza on the Corner of 180th and Pacific across the street from the Hy-vee, officially 17857 Pierce Plaza. For more information, go to www.tommycolinaskitchen.com

Cantina Laredo recently unveiled a new bar menu. Not only that, but with a new Reverse Happy Hour, diners can enjoy authentic Mexican for half-price at night. The new bar menu features dishes, like Crab Cakes ; three cakes, served with white butter sauce and poblano peppers, and Chicken Empanadas; with roasted poblano peppers and Oaxaca cheese. Both plates are less than $6 during Happy Hour which is weekdays from 4:00p.m.-7:00p.m. And Reverse Happy Hour which is weekdays from 9:00p.m. to close. For more information, contact 402.345.6000. This Sunday, October 28th is the Homegrown Homebrewers Festival at The Cresent Moon, 36th and Farnam. 50 home brewers from around the Midwest will converge with over 100 beers for what promises to be one of the largest gatherings and selections of home brewed beer assembled in Nebraska. Sampling is free, but you must purchase a festival entry ticket, which includes a sampler glass, a program of beers that will be available and a selection of appetizers provided by the Crescent Moon. Tickets are just $22 and are available at Beertopia 402.905.2603, or online at etix.com. Festival goers will be asked to vote for their favorite beers with the winning brewers, walking away with some great prizes. The Festival runs from 1:00p.m.- 5:00p.m.
