Jazz on the Green Thursday, July 19, presents the jump-blues, jazz and swing of San Francisco vocalist Lavay Smith & Her Red Hot Skillet Lickers at 7 p.m. This is a rare Nebraska appearance by retro chanteuse Smith.
The 21st Saloon has the Louisiana sounds and blues rhythms of Josh Garrett & The Bottomline Thursday, July 19, 5:30-8:30 p.m.

Zoo Bar
Earl & Them, featuring Earl Cate and “Baby Jason” Davis, plays 5-7 p.m. Friday, July 20 at the Zoo. After 9 p.m., Matt Cox opens for Lloyd McCarter & The Honky Tonk Revival’s CD release party.
Saturday, July 21, the legendary Phantom Blues Band plays 6-9 p.m. followed by the “psychedelic soul” of California band The Monophonics. Roots showman Webb Wilder returns Sunday, July 22, 6-9 p.m.

Salgado & Hullabaloo
Curtis Salgado, originally scheduled at the Hullabaloo Music & Camping Festival on Aug. 5, is undergoing surgery July 18 in Portland, Ore., to remove a mass from his lung. Elkhorn’s Heartland Cafe offers several big shows this week. Friday, July 20, 8 p.m., St. Louis guitarist Marquise Knox performs. Knox was mentored by the late Henry Townsend.
