Movieha - Omaha’s Movie Podcast (May 13)

Episode 3 - Some happy juice came out

Happy Friday to ya! Below you'll find Episode Three of our humble podcast. And I do mean humble. We are still young colts, learning how to use these knobby-kneed legs, and we really, truly welcome any and all suggestions as to what you want more (or less of). So give the podcast below a listen, we hope you enjoy it, and then meet me below for some more discussion!

Welcome back! Hopefully you had a good time listening to our little half-hour of goodness, but we're looking to make it a half-hour of GREATNESS! And that's where YOU come in. Hit us up on Facebook, .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address), hit us up on Twitter, but let us know SOMEHOW what you want to hear. Specifically, if there's a segment you want us to try out or ditch, let us know. And if you'd like to participate in our weekly game of Netflix Roulette, you can always shout out suggestions for specific movies or categories and we'd love to try them.

Box Office Haikus

Here are last week's results along with my patented formula that reveals my predictive accuracy: Box Office May 6-8
1.) Thor - $65 million (Accuracy of prediction - 97.5%)
2.) Fast 5 - $32 million (Accuracy of prediction - 90.5%)
3.) Jumping the Broom - $15 million (Accuracy of prediction - 80%)
4.) Something Borrowed - $14 million (Accuracy of prediction - 86%)
5.) Rio - $8.5 million (Accuracy of prediction - 90%)

Overall accuracy of prediction - 89%

I'll take a B+.
That's a grade to be proud of!
Perfectionists suck.

Now, on to this week's predictions!

Box Office Predictions May 13-15

1.) Thor - $30 million
Bridesmaids may beat this
Thor! Ladies are on your rear!
That didn't sound right.

2.) Bridesmaids - $25 million
These dames gots funny
and they know how to use it.
Girls can do gross too!

3.) Fast 5 - $15 million
Vin Diesel is dumb.
He said THIS may win Oscar.
You think he meant "grouch?"

4.) Priest - $14 million
Matt hated this one.
And he WANTED to see it.
That's not a good sign.

5.) Something Borrowed - $8 million
Rom coms hang in there
even when no one loves them.
That's not meta, right?

WILDCARD - Jumping the Broom - $7.5 million
Matt almost saw this
but then he proclaimed that he
"loved himself too much."

Tune back in next week to see how right or wrong I was!

Retreat Trailer

Here's the trailer for the movie we put "On Your Radar" this week. I expect our first lawsuit will be a cease-and-desist from Thandie Newton's people over the adjective "delicious."

Dead Man's Shoes

This looks pretty intense. This is next week's entry for Netflix Roulette. So...if someone could suggest a comedy for the week after that, it would really help.

That's it for this week. Thanks again for all your support!
