Help Fund Localmotive’s Return

If you’re wondering whatever happened to the popular food truck Localmotive, it was a blown engine that was to blame for their abrupt halt to business. They’re trying to make a comeback though, and this time they’re turning to the generosity of their fans. Support Localmotive via their Kickstarter campaign from now until June 26. They hope to raise $40,000 so they can once again satisfy the late-night appetites of Old Market dwellers. http://kickstarter.com/profile/localmotive

Enjoy Mead Outside

Bellevue’s Moonstruck Meadery recently completed an outdoor patio space, allowing mead lovers to enjoy their beverages outside the confines of pesky walls. Hint: Visit during Happy Hour (Tuesday and Wednesday from 4:00-7:00 PM) and enjoy half-off carbonated mead drinks. http://www.moonstruckmead.com/

Volunteer for the Benson Beer Fest

Volunteers need to be over 21 and willing to spend four hours helping out. The Benson Beer Fest takes place on Saturday, June 7. Fill out an application to volunteer online:  http://www.bensonbeerfest.com/volunteers-needed/
