Monday January 14th is National Hot Pastrami Sandwich Day. Since curing your own meat is a hot new trend to the Omaha restaurant scene, thought a little shout out for the pastrami would be appropriate and appreciated. So here are a couple of places of which to pay homage to the Hot Pastrami. Cured in house, the Grey Plume offers pastrami as an add-on to the Grey Plume Burger. And a true Dundee stand-by, the Dundee Dell offers Hot Pastrami with special sauce, Swiss cheese and grilled onions. If you can wait for a couple months, the French Bulldog, Dundee Cured Meats and Cheeses, will be unveiling their pastrami. The Grey Plume is located in Midtown Crossings at 220 South 31st. Ave. (402.763.4447). The Dundee Dell is located at 5007 Underwood Ave. (402.553.9501.) The French Bulldog is at its brand new location at  5003 Underwood Ave. (402.505.4633.)
