* Hot on the heels of the recently-released cassette and download-only Sponge, Digital Leather is already moving on to a new full-length in February. Philadelphia-based FDH Records will release Modern Problems. The label also released 2007 Digital Leather album Blow Machine. Foree recorded the album at his house in midtown Omaha. Final Score: A Look Back at the 2011 Music Predictions

Because many of you (most of you) center your lives around my annual music predictions (and why wouldn’t you?) I’m starting the process early this year by recapping last year’s predictions. Look, if I haven’t got it right yet, I’m not going to in the next two weeks (Hang in there, Courtney). So with that, let the scoring begin:

The set was brisk and direct, with Gettman's voice and guitar on display. Gettman has already...

Another Great Concert Weekend

There were two great shows in Council Bluffs, IA, the weekend of December 9th and 10th. On Friday, the 9th, Tantric came to Whiskey Roadhouse with Eve to Adam, Man Made Machine, and Underride. All of the bands were excited to play that night inside the Horseshoe Casino and have had a great time on this tour so far.

Then on the 10th, 89.7 The River hosted the Share the Welt Tour at the...
