Winnebago Man w/ director Ben Steinbauer Q&A

Sept. 25 Winnebago Man w/ director Ben Steinbauer Q&A Film Streams, 1340 Mike Fahey St. 7 p.m., $9, $7 seniors/students filmstreams.org   Jack Rebney was something of a cult icon — he just wasn’t aware of it. The Found Footage Festival catapulted the so-called “Angriest Man in the World” into public view. Bumbling, profane and angry, in the outtakes of his RV sales video even found ways to invent new swear words when he had exhausted all the others. So what happens when, in the age of the Internet, people realize they’ve become the meme? That’s at the heart of the documentary Winnebago Man, the story of the accidental celebrity in a time when the lines are ever blurred. Saturday, director Ben Steinbauer discusses it with the audience, in all its bizarre, vulgar glory.
