Taita, New Restaurant In Benson; Omaha Heritage Festival

This Memorial weekend, join Omaha in celebrating our many cultures at the Omaha Heritage Festival at the Lewis and Clark Landing. Organized by the Midlands Latino Community Development Corporation, the festival was designed to help bring together different communities throughout Omaha and the surrounding areas by sharing the uniqueness of each culture with music, dance and food. Some of the food vendors will be Espana, Big Mama’s, El Dorado, Latino Restaurant and the Grand Fortune Restaurant. Then, after noshing at a food both or two, its time to Salsa. On Saturday May 26 at 5:00 p.m., you can take part in breaking a world record by joining the largest group of Salsa dancers in one location. Admission is free and the event runs May 25, 26, and 27.
