He dances, he choreographs and he produces. The man also has been known to win a Tony Award. SoLe Sanctuary, Savion Glover’s latest offering, brings tap dancing to Omaha at its most stunning. On a shrine-inspired set, Glover and Marshall Davis, Jr. pay homage to the greats of this dynamic art form, including Gregory Hines (one of Glover’s teachers) and Sammy Davis, Jr. If you’ve never seen Glover, you probably know his work from Bring in ‘Da Noise, Bring in ‘Da Funk where he won his Tony, or maybe for what he did with technology to choreograph the penguins in Happy Feet and Happy Feet II. If that doesn’t grab your interest, nothing will.
