Pick: The Sandlot 20th Anniversary Tour

August 10
The Sandlot 20th Anniversary Tour at Werner Park
Werner Park
12356 Ballpark Way
$5 or $20 for a family of up to six

If you build it, they will come. Damn - wrong movie. But anyways, Papillion did build Werner Park, and The Sandlot's 20th Anniversary Tour has come to screen their Little League masterpiece there. For only five bucks (or twenty per family of six), you can see Smalls and the rest of the gang experiment with chewing tobacco, lose the Babe Ruth ball, and talk sports with James Earl Jones. If you pre-order tickets, you can also meet members of the cast. Indeed, this probably won't happen for another twenty years, so don't strike out. Now if only we can get them to screen Remember the Titans at Memorial Stadium....
