Pick: Ocular Coalescence

December 7
Opening reception for "Ocular Coalescence"
The Kent Bellows Studio & Center for Visual Arts, 3303 Leavenworth St.
6-9pm

The Kent Bellows Studio & Center for Visual Arts will be hosting the opening reception of “Ocular Coalescence”, an exhibit that showcases the visually diverse work of the studio's young artists, including paintings, sculpture, video, ceramics, and more. The art compilation was created by over forty students, ranging from grades nine to twelve. The Education Manager, Weston Thomson described, "During this fall semester, both our new and previous mentors pushed their students to dream and challenged them with unfamiliar mediums and techniques - witness our student growth and the multitude of visual languages emerging in this art show curated by the Critical Arts Program youth." All artwork sales will benefit the artists and art programs at The Kent Bellows Studio. The exhibit opens on December 7th at 6pm and continues through January 11th.
