Pick: Lit Undressed Submission Deadline

August 15
Lit Undressed: Women in Disguise Submission Deadline
Facebook.com/LitUndressed

Lit Undressed is calling for poetry and short-fiction submissions for its fourth installment. This year’s theme focuses on “women in disguise,” inspired by women writers in history who disguised themselves with male pen names to avoid the bias of getting published as females. Selected pieces will be performed live by nude figure models. Send submissions of 400-words, along with a 50-word bio, to litundressed@yahoo.com by August 15. Lit Undressed is also seeking 2- or 3-dimensional art of the same theme to be displayed during the performances. Email up to 5 .jpg images with title, dimensions, medium and 50-word artist bio by September 1. Artists must be able to deliver their work to House of Loom during the month of October. Performance art or music may also be considered for pre-show entertainment. Email 100-word description of plan. The nude performances will include classic excerpts from works by authors such as Charlotte Bronte and Agatha Christie, as well as selected submissions.
