Pick: Frankenstein Brothers

Buckethead and That 1 Guy

April 19
Frankenstein Brothers (Buckethead & That 1 Guy) w/ Wolff
The Bourbon Theatre, 1415 O St. in Lincoln
8 p.m., $20 in advance/$25 day-of-show, onepercentproductions.com

The pedigree alone should be enough to bring hordes of experimental music fans to Lincoln for this show, which melds the world of guitar maestro Buckethead with that of the instrumental tinkerer That 1 Guy into the unholy body that they are calling the Frankenstein Brothers. That 1 Guy has leapt from playing double bass as a sideman on various jazz, rock and experimental music recordings to building his own instruments, headlined by the percussive Magic Pipe. Meanwhile, Buckethead's reputation has grown through his dozens of solo releases and his stints with acts as varied as Marc Ribot, Praxis, Primus and Guns N' Roses.
