As part of Omaha Creative Week, new artist Gary Kudym unveils his acrylic paintings of butterflies that helped him metamorphosize his life. “ARC,” the title psyedynym stands for “Affirmation, Reinvention and Creation,” the three main inspirations of the series which is on display for the first time. Proceeds of the art will benefit the Metamorphosis Fund, easing the financial burden on cancer patients and survivors who need goods and services to aid in their recovery. Complimenting Kudym’s work is original jewelry by Carmella’s Closet.
