Pana88 is a new, quick and convenient eatery that will be opening soon in Midtown Crossing. Opened by the same group that started Hiro and Hiro88, Pana88 will be serving Pan Asian cuisine in an ultra hip space where customers can be in and out without a spending a lot of money. According to their facebook page, Pana88 will be having a soft opening on May 1 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and all food will be 50% off. Check it out. Jones Bros. Cupcakes in rematch of Cupcake Wars on the Food Network
The Food Network has staged a rematch of the Cupcake Wars inviting Omaha Baker Bill Jones and Lead Baker Marianne Martin of Jones Brothers Cupcake, Omaha. Watch on Sunday April 29 at 7 p.m. as the pair tries to redeem themselves after losing in what is being hailed as “the Valentine’s Day Cupcake Massacre”. Cox Channel 54, Cox HDTV 1054 and Qwest Channel 40 will be airing the episode or you can attend the viewing party at Jones Brothers Cupcakes and Café located on the corner of 67th and Mercy Road in Aksarben Village. Jones Bros. is the only midwestern bakery to be invited back to Cupcake Wars for the rematch.
