* "Celebrity Apprentice," Donald Trump’s reality show on NBC, delivers on crazy, this time thanks to another bizarre Gary Busey performance. The contest featured local company Omaha Steaks, who held a charity viewing party at the Holland Performing Arts Center on Sunday. Celebrities in attendance were former Huskers star and current Detroit Lion Ndamukong Suh and singer/actor Meatloaf. Or rather “Chef Meatloaf,” as Busey referred to him in the April 17 episode. For a moment, Donald Trump showed a softer side for the wild and unconventional Busey, but in the end, it was Busey who was in Trump’s sights when he delivered the signature line, “You’re fired.” * After a brutal winter, it is finally time to roll up your sleeves and fire up the grill, because May is National BBQ month. (Recently, Reader partner Food and Spirits Magazine published an article on a barbecue competition that pitted nine local restaurants against each other; copies of the new FSM are available throughout the metro.) Another sign the seasons are changing is the arrival of Easter and the broad selection of restaurants offering their adaptation of brunch. As with any holiday in the restaurant business, you can expect you are not the only person who wants to dine out on Easter Sunday. In an effort to keep you from looking like an amateur, here are a couple of places to consider when making reservations for Easter Sunday brunch. Anthony’s Steakhouse, which is not typically open on Sundays, is taking reservations for Easter Brunch. For reservations, call 402.331.7575. Anthony’s Steakhouse is located at located at 7220 F. St. in Omaha. The Field Club of Omaha is offering the “Grand Sunday Brunch Buffet” on Easter. The cost is $12.95 for adults, $7.95 for kids 12 and under, and children 5 and under are free. Finally, Taxi’s Grille and Bar offers their infamous À la carte brunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. For reservations, call 402.898.1882. * Beer fans hold on to your coozies because the Spiegelau Beer Classics Seminar, featuring Goose Island Craft Beers, is only a month away. On May 19, from 7 p.m.-8:30 p.m., you can sample four beers in a 60-minute instructional class. Tickets are $60; however, the price includes a ticket to the Omaha Beer Fest the following day.
