Celebrate Earth Day at Connect Gallery. April 19 and 20 will feature oil painting instruction with Julie Thorsen. All materials will be provided for $50. Come for one or two days. Connect Gallery is located on the Filed Club Trail. Bring your bike, walking shoes or just sit and soak up the sun on breaks. Earth friendly materials will be used for painting outdoors. The focus will be on continued growth, artistic being, individual style and a relationship with nature. Contact Tom or Jean Sitzman at Connect Gallery for more information. To register for the class, call 402-991-8234. The Connect Gallery is located at 3901 Leavenworth Street. April 19 is a Friday evening Reception of Earth themed art. The Featured artist is Jean Mills from Anchorage Alaska, showing her contemporary fiber arts series, “Water.” The reception with Jean Mills is from 5:30 -9 pm. All are welcome.
