Hinder Interview with Backstage Entertainment

Hinder Performs at Whiskey Roadhouse During Snowstorm

The snow started in the Omaha area late Thursday morning and continued into Friday but that didn’t stop the Oklahoma boys in Hinder from playing that night. The show had been announced earlier this year and even sold out the Whiskey Roadhouse in Council Bluffs, IA. With the weather like it was, it was unsure how many people would actually attend the event. The place ended up still being packed and, like always, Hinder put on a great show.

Earlier that afternoon, Jeremy Lafrentz of Backstage Entertainment spoke to Cody Hanson and Joe “Blower” Garvey from the band to get their thoughts on the new album and the show that night. One of their biggest accomplishments recently was the release of their fourth studio album, “Welcome to the Freakshow.” Like all of their albums so far, the band released a deluxe version which included some acoustic tracks of songs from the album.

For the album, “All American Nightmare,” the band ended up writing 70 songs and recording 50. Since not all of those go onto the album, we asked what happens with the other songs. The guys said they may get used for a new album or just left alone until they may want to revisit them but it was hard to narrow down the songs they wanted for the album.
