Traver Rains Meet & Greet

Formerly of infamous fashion house Heatherette, designer Traver Rains will be in town on Friday, August 24th for a meet and greet with local fashion fans. During his time with the infamous label, Rains dressed everyone from Madonna to Naomi Campbell and Gwen Stefani. The designer also appeared on America’s Next Top Model and Project Runway as a guest judge, and presented at New York Fashion Week 16 times.

Fashion fans, local designers and students are encouraged to attend a free meet and greet with Rains, which will take place in the Harper Center at Creighton University at 2 p.m. The Harper Center is located at 620 N. 20th Street and attendees may RSVP at omahafashionweek.com/trains. And for those planning to attend Omaha Fashion Week, Trains will attend on Friday, August 24th as a VIP guest and will showcase several pieces from his new label, T. Martinis & Manicures

On Wednesday, August 29th, join Sirens Salon at House of Loom as they host a Martinis & Manicures happy hour. For $15, relax with friends and enjoy a select martini from House of Loom and a luxurious manicure from Sirens Salon. Tapas from House of Loom’s usual happy hour menu will also be available.

In addition to August 29th, Martinis & Manicures takes place at House of Loom every second and fourth Wednesday of each month. House of Loom is located at 1012 South 10th Street in Omaha. For more information, visit houseofloom.com.
