FASH FLOOD

Hot on the heels of Omaha’s most engaging and professional fashion week to date, the First Annual SOHA-Style Omaha, Help All charity fashion show will take place this Saturday, March 31st at House of Loom.

Hosted by Mary Nelson of The Morning Blend, SOHA will feature looks from 13 local Omaha boutiques including Roots & Wings, Denim Saloon, Piper, SKYZ Boutique, paperdoll, All About Me, beyourself boutique, Statement, Kajoma’s Boutique, Chocolate Peacock Boutique, Bliss Boutique, Nouvelle Eve and Luvbird Boutique along with designs from Seer Outfitters.

For those unfamiliar, Seer Outfitters is a charity clothing and accessory line from Kyle Korver, a current member of the Chicago Bulls, formerly of Creighton University. More than 25 models will be showcasing 70-plus looks from all participating boutiques and Korver’s line.

Theresa Farrage is the founder and producer of SOHA. Wardrobe styling will be provided by Natalie Navis of Sequined Silver Lining with event staging by Christin Merwald of With Love ~ Boutique Tabletop Rental. Music for the evening will be selected by House of Loom’s DJ, Brent Crampton. Rain Salon will design hair and makeup looks for all models.

Benefiting Omaha’s Abide Network, proceeds from SOHA’s $5 cover charge and raffle will go directly toward helping children and families in need in Omaha. Additionally, proceeds from a locally designed Seer Outfitters t-shirt will go directly to the Abide Network. The limited edition design will be available at the event and online at seeroutfitters.com.

SOHA-Style Omaha, Help All will take place on Saturday, March 31st at House of Loom, located at 1012 South 10th Street. Doors open at 7 p.m. with the fashion show starting promptly at 8 p.m. This event is 21+ with a $5 admission fee benefiting the Abide Network. Visit facebook.com/SOHAEvent or abidenetwork.org for more information.
