FASH FLOOD

Although we have yet to experience it weather-wise, spring is definitely in the air at many of Omaha’s boutiques.

Big changes are coming for one of Papillion’s best kept secrets, Kajoma’s. This must-see boutique is launching both “Kurves Korner”, or plus size and maternity collections for spring. New styles are arriving daily so stop in often to check out their latest and greatest designer garments and accessories. Kajoma’s is located at 401 East 1st Street in Downtown Papillion.

Omaha’s Benson area is also going through stylish changes for spring with a new location for popular boutique Paperdoll and an all new hair salon on the horizon.

Paperdoll will open their doors at their new location at 6107 Maple Street on Thursday, February 23rd. Be sure to stop in soon to shop their expanded inventory, new line of shoes and to gaze at their new store design from local artist, Gerard Pefung.

In April of this year, Benson will welcome a new salon to the neighborhood, Parlour 1887. The salon will be located at 6068 Maple Street and will carry Aveda products. “Like” Parlour 1887 on Facebook for sneak peeks of their renovation process and opening announcements to come.

Hot accessory alert: Dundee boutique Denim Saloon is now carrying a limited number of Ataya Goods locally crafted belts in-store. Ataya Goods’ belts come in a variety of hues, ranging from “Fudge” and “Coffee” to “Butterscotch”.  Stop in and pair an Ataya belt with brightly hued denim or a nautical top, two of spring’s biggest trends. Denim Saloon is located at 4914 Underwood Avenue.
