FASH FLOOD

Save the date for a philanthropic fashion show from an organization fittingly named, Style Omaha Help All (SOHA). SOHA’s mission is to highlight local businesses and non-profits while incorporating fashion, philanthropy and community spirit into an event that fosters unity, charity and awareness. Proceeds from SOHA’s inaugural fashion show will provide support to the Abide Network, a non-profit organization that funds youth programs like Omaha's Hope Center for Kids.

Currently, SOHA is looking for a few volunteers for their first event. Those interested can email the event organizer at sohaevent@aol.com to apply to volunteer. The SOHA fashion show will take place on March 31st at House of Loom, located at 1012 South 10th Street. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show will start at 8 p.m. Cost for this event is $5. For more information, visit facebook.com/SOHAEvent.

With Omaha Fashion Week’s spring showcase just over one month away, local designers such as Kate Walz, Emma Erickson, Olajide Cooper and Yolanda Diaz are busier than ever stitching and buttoning up every detail of their latest collections.

Local fashion fans can head over to omahafashionweek.com/tickets for a full listing of events and to purchase tickets to experience the designs of some of Omaha’s most promising up and coming designers. Omaha Fashion Week will take place at KANEKO, located at 1111 Jones Street and will run from March 21st through March 24th. Doors for all events open at 6 p.m., with each night’s show beginning at 8 p.m. Tickets are available now and run from $30-$60, dependent on seating selection.
