Birdhouse Event & More

Jessica McKay of Birdhouse Interior Design has been not-so-patiently waiting to announce an upcoming special event that should be going on your calendar as you read this. On December 2nd, HOME: A Birdhouse Interiors and Art Exhibition will kick off with a very special speaker, Erin Loechner, creator and editor-in-chief of the internationally popular design blog, Design for Mankind. Loechner has a weekly column for HGTV.com and has been featured in Glamour, Lucky, Nylon, ReadyMade and The Huffington Post, to name a few. The opening reception featuring Loechner will take place from 6 to 10 pm and will showcase an open tour of seven designed rooms, 100% original and local art, food and more. Tickets will be available for $30 in advance with a portion of proceeds going to The Union for Contemporary Art. Visit birdhouseinteriors.com and designformankind.com for more information.

Omaha Designer Steve Gordon of RDQLUS Creative recently added a new line of goods to his ever-expanding clothing line, RDQLUS Goods & Cloth. The limited edition collaboration features Mission Workshop's "Rummy" roll-top messenger bag, hand printed with the RGC "Pedigree" crest on the front flap. When the bag's roll-top is used, the RDG "Hvy Crwn" logo is exposed. Collaboration bags, must-see OMAgoodNEss T-shirts and more are available in extremely limited quantities at rdqlusgoodsandcloth.com.
