Pana 88 Coming to Midtown Crossing
A fast-casual Pan-Asian eatery, is set to join Midtown Crossing's restaurants in spring 2012 called Pana 88. Located at 3201 Farnam St., Pana 88 will offer a wide variety of hot Chinese, Japanese, and other Asian dishes. Owner Charlie Yin, whose family also owns Hiro Sushi in west Omaha and Hiro 88 in the Old Market, said Pana 88 will specialize in affordable, comfort-casual dining. Lunch goers will the target market, but will also be able to handle the dinner crowd for a quick bite to eat before a movie or a place to snack during Jazz on the Green. Alley Poyner (designers of The Grey Plume and Pitch Pizza) will be designing the space. If all goes according to plan, Pana 88 will open in Midtown Crossing in late April 2012.

Owner Greg Lindberg and staff are set to open another Shuck’s located in the Downtown area. The group will take the recently vacated spot held by Dixie Quicks at 19th and Leavenworth, slated to open early in February.

Steak Time, Omaha Steaks free app which debuted in the New and Noteworthy category of the iTunes store earlier this year, was designed to provide the tools for preparing and serving the perfect steak every time.
