Coming to the Grey Plume; Aronia Berry Wine Dinner with Sawmill Hollow Farm on September 26. Sawmill Hollow Farm is located in Missouri Valley Iowa, is certified organic and recognized by the USDA as the first Aronia berry farm in the United States. Sawmill Hollow’s Andrew Pittz will share stories and the health benefits of the Aronia berry, America’s superfruit. There will be a four-course meal created with the Aronia berry featured throughout the courses. Cost is $80 per guest. Call 402.763.4447. Another wine dinner to mention; the Zin Room is having a wine dinner featuring Wente wines. Also included in the evening is guest speaker Chris Lequin, Great Plains Regional Manager.
