Save the date for this Friday August 10th for Omaha's first Food Truck Festival. The event is hosted by the Old Mattress Factory and Bomb Digs Gourmet Food Truck. There will be drinks, food and entertainment all held in the Old Mattress Factory parking lot  at 501 North 13th Street.  From 4:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Omaha's Food Truck Festival will include Bomb Digs Gourmet Food Truck, LocalMotive, New Orleans Sneaux, Brotato's, island season's mobile kitchen and Ty's Amazing Southern Cuisine. Do not miss the next installation of wine dinners at Spencer's for Steaks and Chops, Omaha. On Saturday night, August 25th, Spencer's for Steaks and Chops will collaborate with Caymus Vineyards of Rutherford California in offering a wine dinner featuring Caymus wines. On Thursdays, August 9th and August 16th, Brix is offering wine and cocktails on their new outdoor patio overlooking Jazz on the Green at Midtown Crossings. The new patio is open to the public , beginning at 5:00p.m. Then stay and enjoy more jazz music from 9:00p.m. to 11:00p.m. as Brix will feature music from local artists. On August 9th, you can hear Tim Javorsky and on August 16th enjoy the music of Chris Saub. Brix at Midtown Crossings is planning to open in time for the holidays 2012. New to Midtown Crossings is an official sports bar, Saints Pub and Patio. They will offer food and drink as well as expansive sports programming, a multitude of flat screen televisions and an outdoor patio.
