Conscious Perception

Oct. 1-2 Conscious Perception Bancroft Street Market, 2702 S. 10th St. Noon-9 p.m., FREE, 651.2327 bancroftstreetmarket.com Through collaborations, Conscious Perception brings together an array of performers, poets and painters while examining the connections between humans and the natural world. Visual art will impose upon poetry, performance art will expand paintings, and all media will seek to rectify the mysteries surrounding human perception. If navigating physical and mental landscapes sounds intriguing, don’t miss this opportunity to see how others have documented their journeys. Artists on display include poet Megan St. Clair and painter Daisy McGreevy. A reception with the artists and guest poet Stephanie Midwood will be held both nights from 6-9 p.m.
