This isn’t about fad-diets or trendy-fitness or quick-fixes; the festival hosts over 300 exhibitors and 50 seminars on a plethora of health issues including alternative medicine, nutrition, organic foods, being green, reducing and living longer and happier, plus sports clinics such as the Omaha Storm Chasers baseball clinic, and even cooking, beauty and fashion. Says Bob Mancuso, Jr., director of the Expo, “The Omaha Health Expo is a unique community event that represents a multi-dimensional, complimentary view of health and wellness.” Saturday will kick off with a walk to benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society-Nebraska Chapter; Sunday starts with a bike-ride to benefit Eastern Nebraska Trails Network. Both start at 9 a.m.
