Murder suspect caught in Arizona

An Omaha man wanted for the Nov. 10 murder of Adrian Lessley was arrested Dec. 2 in Glendale, Ariz. Kevin Watt, 24, is believed to be the shooter in an altercation near 31st and Seward that left Lessley dead and wounded Jason Marion. Jeromie Wade, 28, was arrested on Nov. 11 and booked as an accessory to a felony in the incident. Watt awaits extradition to Omaha.

Small plane crashes near Eppley Airfield

A single-engine plane crashed north of Omaha's Eppley Airfield early Dec. 2. The unidentified pilot was the lone occupant in the plane and did not suffer serious injury. The plane left from Montana, but aviation authorities are still determining if Omaha was the pilot's final destination.

Man stabbed in South Omaha

Jose Cardenas, 26, survived after being stabbed late on Nov. 30 near 23rd and Vinton. Cardenas was transported to the VA Medical Center by a third party and told officers he was stabbed during a fight with a person over a previous altercation. Police have made no arrests.

Missing plane crashes outside Norfolk

Two men are dead after a plane bound for Millard crashed east of Norfolk, Neb. Investigators believe the crash was weather-related. Search crews found the wreckage on the afternoon of Nov. 22. Man fumes over no smoking policy

Employees at Buffalo Wild Wings near 76th and Dodge asked Earl Davis, 31, to please go outside to smoke. Davis didn't just refuse, he raged, breaking tables, chairs and big-screen TVs before police used a taser gun to get him under control. Davis was charged with felony destruction of property, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.
