Yo, what up? It’s me again. That guy that “Does what he wants” aka DAWB aka Jimmy Hooligan reporting from Austin, Tex. on SXSW Hip-hop.

This blog is meant to be for Day Two, however Day 2 ended up being day 3, or maybe 4. Either way here is my best attempt to fill you in on the past 48 hours.

Day two starts off with me waking up in the back seat of my vehicle at 7 a.m. from a phone call from something that calls himself “Sonny Bonoho. After the quick exchange of blurry jargin (Twitter, Facebook, blah blah), I pick the Asian American Seattle emcee up from a bus station. After grabbing what he called “Juice” from CVS, Sonny and Hooligan teamed up and guerilla marketed the streets for “Big Mike/Hooligan” showcase. With Aaron G in tow, we plastered the city with flyers and posters.

We stopped in at many showcases and ate shrimp with the heads still on. What? Yeah it happened.

Anyway after spending hours upon hours and putting nearly 27 miles on my Chucks, we did some more. After hours of that and attempting to get all the Omaha artists together, we finally were able to street team up and down Sixth St.

Donny J, Eric Day, Toppas wit Choppas, Pflames, Cruzmatic, Sonny Bonoho, Aaron Gum, ShiShi Sakari and myself  made a large statement in our custom t-Shirts as we invited all that we could. We received some help from a large gentleman that called himself "Cookie Monster”.

We snuck into a few show and basically spent the day in the sun doing major promo.
