Gifts of Music

Playing With Fire promoter Jeff Davis has two more concerts planned to generate funds for his tenth anniversary summer event planned for the weekend of July 13, 2013. Feb. 9 at Slowdown, Davis presents Cassie Taylor & the Soul Cavalry opening for Ben Poole. Davis says, “Poole is from Brighton, England, and is currently the hot ticket in Europe. He won third at the 2012 European Blues Challenge in Berlin. In my mind he was the winner and that is why I booked him…It will be his first performance in the U.S.A.” April 26 at Slowdown, Davis showcases the Kris Lager Band opening for Otis Taylor. Watch for ticket sales details.
