Running Gun Battle Leaves Man Dead

Omaha Police found a 24-year-old dead behind the wheel of 1975 Oldsmobile Cutlass crashed into a telephone pole blocking southbound 30th Street, the result of a possible running gun battle through the streets on Saturday morning according to WOWT-MAN DEAD. Omaha police are investigating the shooting death of a 24-year-old man found slumped behind the wheel of a car, the result of a possible running gun battle through the streets on Saturday morning. Officers heard gunshots just before 2:30 a.m. patrolling in the area of 30th and Fort streets and minutes before a 911 call to report a shooting. QUESTION: How can the Omaha Police identify this as a running gun battle?
