MUSIC: Jazz on the Green lineup announced

Beloved Omaha summer staple Jazz on the Green will once again make its home at Midtown Crossing for 2011, running six consecutive Thursdays from July 7-Aug. 11. Here's the lineup: Thursday, July 7: Tiempo Libre (Cuban-inspired, dance-inducing jazz) Thursday, July 14: Incendio (Latin guitar, world fusion) Thursday, July 21: Omaha Big Band (Classic Big Band, toe-tapping swing) Thursday, July 28: The Sugar Thieves (Sultry blues and danceable grooves) Thursday, Aug. 4: Steve Raybine (Smooth jazz and urban funk melodies) Thursday, Aug. 11: Steve Lucky and the Rhumba Bums featuring Carmen Getit (Boogie woogie swing) All concerts are free and open to the public; the venue opens at 5 p.m. with music starting at 7 p.m.
